My Story...told by Myriam

I've started showing dogs 10 years ago when my good friend Lucie Desmarais and her parents, Francine and Pierre from Lumarc's Bouvier ask me to go at a dog show with them...Lucie learned me many things about showing dogs and she gave me the passion of dogs shows!!!

I had the chance to meet Francoise n Robert of Fabert's Dobermans and they changed my life! They took me everywhere, bringing me on their trips in Quebec, Ontario and the USA.  They showed me everything they knew about dogs and dog shows and life itself.  I adore dog shows but i love above all training dogs for the shows!

I did a few years of junior handlers, where i learned a lot but did not enjoy it all the time, for just like in the real rings, there was a lot of politics but i guess this is what prepares you for the real thing.  since then i have shown a lot of different breeds for clients and friends, but mainly dobermans, dachschunds, cockers, german shepherds, standard poodles, lots of Bouviers, berneses, pyrenees and miniature pinschers.  On the way lots of BOB, group placements, BPIS, BPISS, and lately BIS's and lots of Canadian Champions.

I want to thank my second Mom, to whom i owe a lot, and to Robert n Maxim, they gave me all the chances to become a good breeder, handlers.  They will give me my chance to keep up the good name of Fabert's Dobermans for the future and will stand by me as long as they can.  A big thank you to Danick, the love of my life, who is perfect as he loves the dogs and the dog shows as much as i do.  Finally thank you to all my friends and clients who stood and stand by me making this dream possible!

Par la suite, j'ai fait la rencontre de Robert et Francoise de Fabert Doberman et ils ont changé ma vie!!! Ils m'ont fait voyagé avec eux a travers le Québec, l'Ontario et les États-Unis...et m'ont appris tout ce que je sais sur le maniement et l'élevage! J'adore le dog show mais je crois que j'aime encore plus entraîner les chiens avant les expositions!  

J'ai fait les concours de jeunes manieurs pendant quelques années, j'ai beaucoup appris mais je n'ai pas vraiment apprécié car comme dans les vrais compétitions il y a la beaucoup de politiques..!!! Le meilleur ne gagne pas à tout coup malheureusement..Ceci te permet de te préparer à la "vrai" compétition...Et depuis, j'ai présenté plusieurs races de plusieurs groupes différents pour clients et amis...des Dobes et encore des Dobes!!! des dachschunds, des cockers, des berger allemands, des caniches standard, des bouviers des flandres, des bouviers bernois, des schnauzers, des kerry blue, des pyrénées...et plusieurs autres!!! Je compte dans mon répertoire beaucoup de placements de groupe et de BPIG, des BISS, des BPIS, des BPISW...et beaucoup de championnats!!!

En conclusion, je dois tout a ma deuxième mère Francoise et à Robert et Maxim...ils ont tout donné pour que je réussisse en tant que manieur et éleveur...je continuerai bientôt l'élevage de Fabert...Merci pour votre soutien, votre amour...et votre confiance!!! Un merci spécial à leur fils Maxim pour son aide! Merci aussi a mon amoureux Danick qui aime nos dobes plus que tout au monde et qui adore le dog show...Merci aussi a tous mes clients et amis qui m'ont fait énormément confiance jusqu'à présent!!!
